JohnJohn McLellan claimed his first national-level karting victory on June 23, 2025, with a breakthrough win at Formula Karts Round 4 in León, Mexico.

Competing as a rookie in the class, McLellan showed maturity and control in difficult wet-weather conditions while battling against an experienced national field.

The victory also earned McLellan a priority ticket to the FIA Karting World Cup, marking another major milestone in his international racing development with Birel ART Mexico.
