JohnJohn McLellan established himself as one of America’s top young karting drivers by capturing the 2024 Superkarts! USA California ProKart Challenge (PKC) Mini Swift Championship.

Competing against some of the strongest Mini Swift talent on the West Coast, the Southern California driver delivered a breakout season highlighted by speed, consistency, and three race victories across the six-round championship campaign.

McLellan opened the season with his first career PKC Mini Swift victory at Buttonwillow, winning the Final by six seconds and immediately establishing himself as a championship contender.

Maintaining front-running pace throughout the year, McLellan secured the championship following a season-long battle at the front of highly competitive Mini Swift fields.

The 2024 title marked a major step in McLellan’s progression through the karting ranks and helped launch his transition into OK-N Junior competition in 2025 with Birel ART Mexico, beginning the next phase of his international racing development.
