John “JohnJohn” McLellan is a 13-year-old American racing driver from Redondo Beach, California. He competes internationally in OK-Junior with Ward Racing, following a successful 2026 OK-N Junior campaign that included fourth place at the WSK Euro Series finale in Cremona against a 64-driver international field.
His 2026 results also include pole position, two heat-race victories and the fastest lap at IAME Series Italy Racing Formula. JohnJohn’s racing program combines European competition with selected United States events as he continues his development toward FIA-level international karting and, ultimately, Formula racing.
THE STORY
Born and raised in Redondo Beach, California, JohnJohn “Racer” McLellan has spent nearly half his life chasing speed. A lifelong passion for vehicles led JohnJohn from two-wheeled motorbikes to four-wheeled racing karts during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Since then, JohnJohn has raced across the United States, Mexico, Italy and Australia — competing in the OK-N Junior, KA100 Junior, X30 Junior, Rotax Junior MAX, Mini Swift and Micro Swift classes. His passion, discipline, and raw pace have earned him 87+ career podiums and 34 race wins in just six years of competition.
In July 2025, his determination paid off when he qualified for the FIA Karting World Cup in Italy for his performance in the Mexico National Championship — a major milestone in his international driver-development program.
When he’s not behind the wheel, JohnJohn is an active student, balancing academics with fitness, surfing, and soccer. He trains year-round, dedicating hours each week to physical conditioning and simulator time.
With an infectious personality, humility, and relentless ambition, JohnJohn is quickly building a name as both a competitor and brand ambassador — a role model for young racers and a valuable partner for sponsors seeking authentic representation in youth motorsport.
