Six weeks after suffering a broken wrist that delayed his European racing campaign, JohnJohn is officially back where he belongs—behind the wheel.

Following medical clearance and a focused recovery program, JohnJohn returned to competition at the Musselman Honda Circuit, competing in both the RMC Rotax America Trophy Series Rounds 1 & 2 and the SKUSA Pro Tour in the highly competitive X30 Junior category.

After racing through a broken wrist at Champions of the Future America and being forced to postpone his planned trip to Italy with Ward Racing for the WSK Euro Series, returning to the track represented an important step forward.
Despite the time away from competition, JohnJohn quickly found his pace in a stacked 32-driver Rotax Junior MAX field.

RMC Rotax America Trophy Series Highlights
Round 1 – Qualifying: P3 Pre-Final: P32 to P12 (+20 positions)
Round 2 – Pre-Final: P5 (+6 positions)

Throughout the weekend, JohnJohn continued to build strength, confidence, and race pace while competing against some of the top junior drivers in North America. More importantly, he completed a demanding race schedule and gained valuable seat time as he works his way back to full fitness.

“Getting back in the kart was the goal,” said JWM Racing. “The recovery process required patience, discipline, and determination, but JohnJohn never lost focus. Every lap this weekend was another step forward.”

The focus now shifts to continuing his development, building momentum, and preparing for the opportunities that lie ahead.

Next Stop: Italy 🇮🇹

With his recovery progressing well, JohnJohn is now preparing for a return to European competition with starts planned in:
• WSK Euro Series Round 2
• ACI Karting National Round 1

The road to Europe may have been interrupted, but the journey continues.
