John continued his rookie campaign in full-size junior karting in the highly competitive ROK GP Junior class at the 2025 ROK Cup USA Las Vegas Finals, taking on a stacked field of 27 of the nation’s top junior drivers.

After qualifying and practice sessions, John secured P14, placing himself solidly in the middle of a talented and experienced field.

Throughout the four heat races, John demonstrated consistency, racecraft, and clean driving:
• Heat 1: Started P15, finished P17 (-2)
• Heat 2: Started P17, finished P13 (+4)
• Heat 3: Started P13, finished P11 (+2)
• Heat 4: Started P11, finished P14 (-3)

His steady performances across the heats earned him a P14 starting position for the Final, showcasing his ability to remain competitive throughout the weekend.

When the green flag dropped for the Final, John put together one of his strongest drives of the season. Charging forward through the field, he worked his way up to P9, battling inside the top ten against some of the best junior drivers in the country.

Unfortunately, with just three laps remaining, contact from behind sent him backward through the field and dropped him to P20. Refusing to give up, John gathered the kart, stayed in the race, and fought to the checkered flag, ultimately finishing P18.

While the final result doesn’t fully reflect the speed and determination shown throughout the weekend, John’s performance in Las Vegas was another strong step forward in his rookie year in ROK GP Junior. Running inside the top ten during the championship finale against such a deep and competitive field highlights the progress being made and provides valuable momentum heading into next season.

The finishing position may not tell the whole story, but the weekend showcased John’s growth, resilience, and race pace as one of the youngest drivers in the ROK GP Junior category. Competing against a deep field of experienced racers, John demonstrated that he has the speed and determination to run inside the top ten while continuing to establish himself in one of the most competitive junior karting classes in the country.
